A Litany of Brother Andre’s Own Words

After each sentence, pray or sing this response:

Saint Andre, pray for us.

 “You pray to God, the way you talk to a friend.”

 “How good the good Lord is! He always dotes on us!”

 “We should always have God’s thoughts inside our head.”

 “God loves us so much, infinitely in fact, and he wants us to love him

back.”

 “Put yourself in the good Lord’s hands; he never lets anyone down.”

 “Do not seek to be free of trials; rather pray God for the grace to bear

them.”

 “The love that our Lord shows during his Passion throws in relief God’s

love for us.”

 “If there were more prayer, this would be a better world..”

 “God the Father sent his Son on earth out of love for us; so we should

render him love for love.”

 “When you’ve done all you can, you have to put your trust in God.”

 “An artist creates the most beautiful paintings using the smallest

brushes.”

 “Don’t be grumpy. Laugh once in a while!”

 “Whenever you’re in trouble, call on the Holy Spirit.”

 “When I die, I’ll live in heaven, so I’ll be much closer to God than now,

and I’ll be able to help you even more.”

 “When the Blessed Mother and Saint Joseph are both praying for you,

that’s some powerful prayer!”

 “If you were in my shoes, Saint Joseph, what would you want somebody

to do for you? Well then, please do that for me.”
